The silage wagons marketed under the name of Siwa are knownfor their soundness and reliability. The Siwa has an all-steel body, reinforced side panels and a solid cage construction. This makes the machine suitable for harvesting both grass and maize. The hydraulic tailboard opens under a 90-degree angle for fast discharge. The slanted front panel facilitates optimal loading, by the start of cutting maize parcels, and driving behind the chopper.

| The new Schuitemaker silage wagon is the world record holder when it comes to unloading the wagon. It is possible to unload a Schuitemaker Siwa with distribution silage beaters and a good 48m3 of grass in the box in only 48 seconds nicely and evenly spread over the silage. That is about 1m3 per minute, an absolute record! | With a perfect mix of reliable components, new production techniques and a modern design, the new Siwa Silage wagon is totally ready for the future. The robust and characteristic way that it is built by Schuitemaker makes the Siwa the powerhouse of silage wagons. | Schuitemaker has set a new standard in riding style. The Schuitemaker silage wagons pull lightly and follow the tractor obediently. Users are unanimously agreed about the sublime riding qualities of the new silage wagons over the land, on the road or on the silage regardless of whether they are carrying a full load of maize, grass or wood chips. |

Fast unloading
The new generation of Schuitemaker silage wagons is fitted with a mechanical scraper floor drive unit. Years of experience combined with the newest drive technology make the new mechanical drive the unloading technique of the future. The completely new drive guarantees you namely an unloading time that has not been shown by silage wagons until now. A new Siwa 720W with two distribution rollers and a load of 48m3 of grass silage can be literally emptied in less than 50 seconds. In addition, the load can be nicely and evenly spread over the silage clamp, when a driving silage is used. Thus not a great pile of grass or maize but a neat blanket of grass or maize spread over the silage. The man on the silage does not have much work to do to in spreading the grass and so he has more than enough time over to drive over the silage. That improves the quality of the silage!
Developed for heavy work
The new silage wagons do not only look well-built and sturdy, they are also really strong and developed for heavy work. You can see that in every facet. Take, for example, the construction of the box. Directly noticeable are the side panels. Despite the fact that the silage wagon has been brought completely up to date, the well-known Schuitemaker side panels remain. These panels form, namely, the basis of the body and thus the backbone of the silage wagon. Unlike others, Schuitemaker does not use tin-plate for the side walls but 1.5mm thick steel that they roll themselves in their own rolling mill. The silage wagon is extremely robust thanks to the side panels, and the cage construction makes the silage wagon completely indestructible. In addition a steel load base is part and parcel of a professional and robust machine. Here no concessions are made. If you choose a Schuitemaker silage wagon, then you are choosing for reliability. All boxes have an outside width of 2.5 meters and an inside width of 2.4 meters.
Comfortable when travelling
The Schuitemaker Siwa 660 and 720 are both fitted with pendulum tandem axles with the unique Schuitemaker STEADY-DRIVE-SYSTEM. This system guarantees what others cannot, namely a perfect riding style on the road, on the land and, especially, on the silage. Modern tandem axles are mostly designed for riding on the road but not for riding forwards and backwards on the silage. COMFORTDRIVE EASYDRIVE ensures that the pressure is distributed over both axles and all the good properties come together in one tandem. During independent tests it has also been shown that the pendulum tandem really substantiates these distinguishing advantages as compared with other tandems. The Schuitemaker Siwa 780 and 840 three axles are fitted with a hydraulic suspended tridem chassis.
Twistlock fastening: Solid and flexible
The connection between the box and the chassis on all Siwa silage wagons is made with the totally trustworthy TWISTLOCK connections, well known in the transport world. This connection not only guarantees a solid fastening of the load box, it also gives flexibility. The box can therefore be replaced by other Schuitemaker equipment such as a slurry tank or manure spreader.
Suspended drawbar: Optimum comfort
All silage wagons are fitted with a suspended drawbar to help with the road holding ability especially with a full load. When riding over road humps or travelling across fields, the drawbar takes care of many jolts and bumps for the tractor and driver. A rubber sprung drawbar is supplied as standard on the Siwa 660 and 720 but optionally a luxury hydraulic variant can be selected. The Siwa 780 and 840 have a hydraulic suspended drawbar as standard.
Rear door: Plenty of room when unloading silage
As with all Schuitemaker Rapide precision chop loader wagons, the rear door of the silage wagon can also be opened very wide, even up to 900. Therefore there is plenty of room to unload the silage quickly. In addition, the side panels at the back run further than the scraper floor and the silage stays longer in free fall. In this way, the Siwa unloads more evenly than many other wagons, even without measuring beaters.
Top package: Extra capacity
All silage wagons can be delivered in an expanded version with a top package. With this top package you easily increase the volume of the silage wagon by mounting a 30cm high yellow upper steel panel. This upper steel panel is delivered for the complete upper surface and is a full enclosure. Also included in the top package is a hydraulically controlled catch that is mounted in the front panel. In this way, the front panel can be opened from the tractor so that the tractor can ride behind the harvester without any problems.
Lifting axle: more downward pressure and no unnecessary tire wear
The Siwa 780 and 840 models are fitted with a hydraulic suspended tridem chassis. In addition it is also possible to lift the front wheels. In this way, more downward pressure is achieved and under difficult conditions more weight can be distributed over the rear wheels of the tractor if required. When, with a full load, the lifting axle is raised, it is easy to ride on the silage. This also ensures that there is no unnecessary tire wear when the silage wagon is empty.
Safety package
To see and be seen are important, certainly for the constantly larger and faster agricultural traffic. That also applies to silage wagons that are often found on the road. It is not for nothing that Schuitemaker supplies, as standard, a Safety package for all her silage wagons which consists of LED side lighting, and reflective strips on the rear door and mudguards.
